Puzzle Quest is a Game that, at the base, was used as a "gamble". Infinite Interactive has indeed attempted to create an RPG world, but unlike traditional RPG, the battles are played as a puzzle. The first installment in the series, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, was released in 2008 in Europe and chose the PSP and the Nintendo DS as supports. We of course tested the game and our impressions were very positive.
Each turn, players will exchange instead of two parts in order to align three, four or five. The pieces of yellow, red, blue and green relate the "Mana", which will be used for spells. The pieces bring in money, the stars of purple skulls experience and deal damage to the opponent
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords ...
A few months ago, Infinite Interactive announced the arrival of Puzzle Quest 2, then already available on Xbox Live, PC and DS, PSP. However, since this announcement, no additional information has been provided.
Steve Fawkner, president of Infinite Interactive, announced on Facebook that the game may be not available on our beloved console. He explains this by the fact that, after acquiring the studio by Firemint, itself acquired by Electronic Arts, many developers have left the studio, and that the number would not be enough to finish the portage.
He explains that, paradoxically, there remains very little to do (there would be a bug related to its correct), but they do not. He claims not to have completely abandoned but, presumably, it is likely that the game does not see the date on the PlayStation Network.
He would not say that Electronic Arts, or Firemint is responsible for this, however, it took more time than requested, and maximum freedom to finish the porting but persistent problems can be solved with the remaining workforce.
Finally, we look forward to seeing you in the future, other episodes of the series is still expected, and this time, he hopes, on all platforms.
