With the holidays approaching, sales of consoles are starting to go back and invite mass in the salons of our Japanese friends. Everyone has to rank, or almost.
In this week, the PSP was a real coup de boost (probably due to the release of Gundam and Phantasy Star 2) and finds herself in second place behind the Wii, which has not benefited so much from 935 000 units sold in New Mario Bros.. For home consoles, the PS3 saw its sales increase by 20 000 and a few units compared to last week, which surely has a relationship with the tsunami effect of FF XIII, which will land in Japan next week. At the bottom of the table, you'll notice a PS2 which begins to rest quietly in peace, behind a 360 still in decline, let alone go to the PSP is like a stillborn.
You will also notice that next week, the PSP will grow to 2 million units sold this year, which is more than satisfactory.

Regarding the sales of games, the PSP cartonne this week trying to grab the 2nd and 3rd place with an aggregate of 510 000 units, divided between the excellent "Phantasy Star Portable 2" and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam Next Plus. A good outcome for the little Sony. The rest is shared between DS / Wii and the last position, Assassin's Creed 2 managed the feat of making his entrance on PS3. The top is evenly split between Sony and Nintendo.
